According to Google, the "Help Me Write" feature can be accessed directly in the Gmail web version’s compose window. With this addition, users can now generate emails automatically and even modify or add details before sending them, ensuring a balance of efficiency and customization. This feature aims to help busy professionals send important emails quickly, making it easier to manage communications without slowing down.
Currently, the auto-email feature is available only for paid Gmail users, with Google indicating that the broader rollout will happen over time.
Alongside "Help Me Write," Google is also preparing to launch another AI-driven enhancement called "Polish." Available within the Gmail draft window, the "Polish" feature will activate whenever users type a minimum of 12 characters. This feature, which requires the Gemini AI add-on, will assist in refining email drafts, ensuring that emails are polished and professionally composed.
Previously, Gmail’s AI capabilities were limited to smart replies and email composition suggestions, which aided in quick responses. However, with “Help Me Write,” users can now automate entire email drafts, a tool that will be valuable for anyone needing to send out significant communications while multitasking or on tight schedules.
